I saw this movie at the Sundance film festival in park city utah on 1/18/08. Fantastic film. we were discussing the movie for hours & hours afterwards, this is one of the movies that really makes you think, in a good way.
Kudos to everyone involved in this film, it was terrific!
I saw this film at OmegaCon on 3/15/2008. The director and a couple of the stars of the movie where there to watch and have a discussion about the movie. I enjoyed the flow of the story. This movie requires you to really think about the sequence of events happening in the film. Its not the regular type of movies shown these days. I hope more films will be made like this one. Making the movie in black and white didn't hurt the movie in my opinion. The movie also had some funny scenes.
shareif this movie played at THE sundance film festival then I will be a monkeys uncle. Oh, and I wont be going to there anytime soon.

shareWell, I have seen the film and loved it. It did play at "The" Sundance film festival and I heard it won awards there and at other film festivals across the country. It is an interesting movie and does invite thinking and is one of those movies where people actually sit and discuss it. I am looking forward to the DVD.

I RECIEVED MY DVD TODAY &1 WATCHED IT TWICE & I JUST LOVED IT A GREAT PLEASURE FROM WATCHING VAMPIRES&SUCH.THIS MOVIE HAS YOUR 1OO % ATTENTION FOR 87 MINUTES OF WHAT OUR LIVES ARE ALL REALLY ABOUT.THIS MAN WAS GOING THROUGH HELL.
I'D SAY I'D SAY THAT I WILL NEED TO WATCH IT A FEW MORE TIMES TO FULLY UNDERSTAND EVERYTHING.

shareSPOILER ALERT: On the DVD's commentary track they explain it somewhat. I think the last scene is showing back in time, when they first met, and they are trapped in that memory.
Listen to the commentary track and it explains a lot IMO.
I have only seen it once however it looks like she thought that he was bending time and disrupting reality when she was the one breaking the rules of time and space. It seems like he died or disappeared and she wanted a do over so she kept him alive by bouncing around in time but she didn't realize it was her heartache that was doing it until the end.
When she was together with him in the end it seemed like she found her happiest memory and went to that place.
At least that's what I got out of it. :)
