My thoughts on this....

I also watched this movie tonight. I followed the story through the news mostly and also read Amber's book. I'm a slow reader, but found I couldn't put this book down. I had it finished in 3 days. Although the acting could've been a bit better, I was still very interested in seeing the words in Amber's book played out on screen. I'm not surprised Amber fell for Scott so easily. He was charming, and being such a good liar, had an excuse for everything so quickly. It really helps the public see what SHE was thinking and feeling leading up to the horrific event in December 2001. My personal opinion, I hope he doesn't sit on death row for 10+ years. Why waste tax dollars on this poor excuse of a human being? He murdered his beautiful wife and unborn son. He's not worth 1 red cent if he's capable of doing this.

I don't watch too many made for TV movies, but I thought this one was done well. I was surprised and stood with it. The casting was very good. My main thought is that they practically made her look like a saint/angel. True, she did a lot to help the police. I am sure that Amber was satisfied with the way they portrayed her. I think the film helped people feel more positive about her.

Agreed. I can`t believe they actually made a movie about this bimbo. Jeez, they had more evidence on OJ than they did on Peterson. Sad that he was convicted on Court TV.

I like this movie a lot. It was really done well I enjoyed watching it. I had followed the trial and I liked Amber from the start. She is a really nice person. And shes not a bimbo. I can guarantee that since my aunt babysat her daughter.

Be careful, you are apparently too foolish to get through life safely.

I agree. I thought it was good to see Amber's side of the story. She seemed to be vilified by the media and really, her testimony helped put him away - let's face it.

What she did took courage and guts - and the stigma of being "the other woman" and this ordeal will live with her forever yet she was willing to risk that to help convict this sociopathic freak.

HAVE YOU EVER WONDERED IF EARTH IS ANOTHER PLANET'S HELL?

Well, like I told someone else on this board, there was a serial killer who killed 5 people in my town in 1990 and he was sentenced to death soon after. However, he was JUST executed in October or November of 2006. So unfortunately, our tax dollars most likely will be wasted on Scott for a significant period of time. All we can do is hope that his life in prison is extremely unpleasant.
