Just kidding. Apparently this is a true story. I believe the director is the real life son of the dying woman in the film. I heard this from my friend, who's mom is steve stockman's cousin.

The subject matter is not very funny to those who have had an experience like the story.

The subject matter isn't very funny. My mom died of cancer. I don't remember us joking or laughing so hard we spit our orange juice out or playing poker with her leftover meds after she passed. For much of this movie it seemed like it was merely a nuisance for these yuppies to take time out of their busy lives to spend with their mom in her last few days.

When my brother-in-law died, his leftover meds were immediately removed from the home, even before the funeral home people came.
