I saw this movie on TV last night. Although, it was commercial free, it seemed as though there were parts missing or cut short. I found this movie very compelling since death or the process of dying is often a hard subject to talk about, especially when it is a parent. I think this movie portrayed the adult-child's perspective beautifully. Having seven siblings myself, I know all too well, the differences in personalities & their respective coping skills.

This movie screenplay was written and directed by Steve Stockman based on a real life experience he had with his own mother. My daughter played Sarah (the little girl with the green shirt---granddaughter of Sally Field's character), and we talked to him about the basis for the movie on the set. He told us it was based on his story, but with some added influence.
