shareBrightburn was a small film with barely any marketing. It's not fair to compare that to a major studio release. Also, I think you might be surprised about the fan base behind Gunn. Even Disney backpedaled over the huge blowback they got when they fired him from the GOTG franchise. Queen is nuts usually, but other than birds of prey, I think all of these movies will be huge at the box office.
shareActually dumb shit, Joker 2 is confirmed to already be in the works. Now I know it must kill you to see DC climbing the ladder to success and getting some loving...just face it DC has found it's winning formula and it's not showing signs of slowing down, and along with it's new found success on the big screen DC also releases at least two direct to dvd animated movies a year to earn a little extra money on the side.
