My problem with it is carelessly hitting someone with your car is grounds for arrest & having your license suspended or revoked. Not to mention the criminal & civil lawsuits that would follow.
So this movie dropped the ball big time in portraying that in a realistic fashion.

Completely unrealistic, particularly today. There would have been a crowd of kids around him ready to lynch thise kids, not to mention parents getting involved and probably suing, and certainly police involvement. That portrayal of bullies hasn't represented fact in decades, if it ever did.
