Hilarious!!!

Yea I loved "big steaming pile of me" I laughed threw the whole show lol!!

I've been a fan of Richard since the late '80s. The first time I saw this special I thought it was weaker than his others, but after buying it and watching it a few times, it really grew on me. Other than the constant fidgeting with his sweater, I think it's a great special.

Richard Jeni, in my opinion was ALWAYS hilarious, but I admit, this wasn't his best performance. When I saw it I was stunned by his appearance (he'd seemed to have aged several years in just a few years and was much thinner) and and as other posters commented, he delved into a lot of controversial and political stuff (topics he really hadn't covered before) and kept fidgeting with his sweater.

If someone is interesting in watching Richard Jeni perform, start with Good Catholic Boy or Platypus Man first. Even so, I can watch plenty of other comedians and not so much crack a smile. Richard Jeni made me really laugh -- even on an "off" day.
