So what happens to this movie now?

It was released in just one theater, where it grossed less than $4,000. Does
it just disappear? Does it get shelved and re-released months or years later?
What are the chances of it ever being released on DVD? Will it ever be seen
anywhere?
From the few user and critic reviews that appear here, it sounds like a
fairly decent movie. I've seen some pretty awful movies, and some little-known
indie films, released on DVD. So will this film ever be given the chance to
be seen anywhere, in any format?

This seems to be par for the course for Paladin-distributed films.

I checked and few of them are available on DVD, and none of them have had major theatrical runs. "Musical Chairs", their most recent release, played only a few weeks, then disappeared from theatres and now appears at private screenings and special one-time screenings.

My question is "why?" Why bother to even make or release a film if you are going to treat it like this? At first I thought the problem was with "Musical Chairs", a film about a couple who enters a wheelchair ballroom dancing competition, but now I see it happens with other films released by this distributor.

Just saw this movie on DVD through Netflix. Rachel Nichols looked absolutely stunning throughout and overall I liked the movie.

It's also on Starz On Demand, a free service to subscribers. That's where I found it. I plan to watch it again and might spare room on a videotape for it; it would fit nicely with "The Station Agent" and "The Village Barbershop".
