He was asking me if I was going to a film festival we met at, where his film and this one won a few awards.
The title is a throwback to classic Gothic novel titles (like Frankenstein; Or, the Modern Prometheus). In this case Let Us Go and Burn Her Body is the main title. The second part is merely a subtitle.
