There was one thing that I liked a lot about this movie

I watched this movie just because it was one of the few that I wanted to see just because everyone said it was so bad.

At the end, when Nick Cage's character is embracing his father and his father says "This isn't the end." It reminded me of something that my Mom used to say. I found the ending kind of hopeful from him driving through chaos with classical music playing. It displayed the kind of peace that you can have inside, which is better than anything. And the kids, running through that field toward that tree, it proves that what the Dad says was right. It wasn't that good but it wasn't that bad either.

It was worth seeing for me, but barely so. I'm not a Nic Cage fan, though, either.

As to the music, it was Beethoven. I figured the connection was that he was deaf, like Caleb.
