I'm still waiting ...

It will never be released if you actually WANT it to come out. The way it works is that they shelve it until you give up any hope of ever seeing it, then quietly release the film on DVD about 2-3 years after you have forgotten all about it. That way, by the time you accidently stumble across it at the video store in about 2009, the movie will not have been worth the wait no matter how good it actually is. Ain't waiting for independant films to get released fun?
