Has anyone notice?

That there are any bears, mountain lions, bobcats, wolves or any kind of carnivoire in this film or in Bambi II, I just wonder why?

I also wonder why does the Great Prince is never around his wife and his son, at least not until Bambi's mother is murdered by those hunters?

Then he shows up when more hunters came to the forrest and then that awful forrest fire (obvious those hunters are irresponsible).

And most of all; why doesn't the Great Prince say something to his son on that scene where he stopped and looked at him. He could have at least said 'keep close to your mother when you are on the meadow and be alert'. It was kind of sad that when Bambi smiles up at him and his father just stares at him like he did something wrong.

Oh and one more thing; the character Friend Owl is very strangly nice in this film where as in the first film, he is cranky as a badger. Except for when a special occation is called upon then he is okay.

The forest was supposed to be a "safe" place. There were no carnivores (except the owl).

I'm not a nature expert, but I think non-carnivores find places to live in far away from carnivores so that they can survive.

BAMBI isn't his only son and BAMBI's mother isn't his only mate. The rule (which he explains in this movie) is that he can't be close to any of the females or children because he has to keep an eye on everyone at the same time. Therefore, each children is the mother's responsability. He does not-not talk to his children to be a dick; it's so they won't get too attached to him.

He was only cranky when someone was bothering him.
