The typewriter that the polly in this film is using...the carriage is going the wrong way, opposite it the way it should. She'd have to be typing from right-to-left as she's facing it for it to work. I assume they had to reverse the shot for some reason.

What surprises me is that it says copyright 1998?! So was it produced in 1998 or 2005?
I agree, the typewriter looks like its moving the correct direction to me. The carriage moves from right to left as you type, which means someone viewing it from opposite the typist would see it go from left to right.
As for the copyright date, it may have been made in 1998 but not gotten widely released until the Sky Captain DVD in 2005 but that's just a guess. (It couldn't have been produced in 2005 since the full length feature inspired by it was in theatres in 2004.)
