Fink was better than most Oz Indy stuff out there.

I understand what everyone is saying about this film and can hear you all loud and clear. It may not have turned out as expected by most of us but I have to admit, I did watch it to the end and from the sounds of it so did everyone else. I haven't been able to do this with many other Aussie indy films at all lately and I think thats a bit of a plus.

I will say this though, I prefer FINK over MACBETH any day. Geoffrey Wright is my favourite Aussie Director too!

I congratulate these guys for making the effort but we know today that when making movies, an 'effort' is simply just not good enough anymore.

Fink is simply raw crap, please do not try to give it a leg up. It really is bloody awful.

No I haven't seen it, but I have been told about it and have had the opportunity to read the script. I read about the first 3 to 5 pages and gave up it was that bad.

I don't think the film turned out like the script from what I heard. It is said that the film is worse than the script (Meat Pie). That puts Fink miles ahead already I guess, but I suppose we should give up this conversation now anyway because I'd rather rub fresh dog turds in my gums than bother with anything.
