... this is a very very bad sign... Dolmen was crushed by French critic but still made a huge audience... Go figure... While superb téléfilms/docu-fiction flop pathetically...

Anything with Claire Keim nowadays sucks badly, yet this was a success in terms of audience...

So that's a bad omen for Le Concile de pierre...

Too bad because i like Guillaume Nicloux's work normally... I think he tried too much there to become a "popular" filmaker...But being popular here is not necessarily a good thing... Ask Claire Keim...

And everybody said from the start of the project that Le Concile de pierre was a good novel but not necessarily Jean-Christophe Grangé's best to adapt... Very hard to put on screen. ..

She has been crucified. I saw the film. She is a disaster. It would not have that bad reviews hadn't she played the role.. Sorry to be that tough but the girl really is talentless. With this one and "Combien tu m'aimes" (written for her) she had two beautiful parts and the chance to prove to everyone she is a good actress. Well she isn't. Absolutly unable to give at least acceptable acting. Jeezz, I don't think her career is gonna last for long. She is 42 and her beauty is fading (eyeslift please) so I don't think she will get that much of good parts. Give her a mere 3 years

yes. But the problem is that she's been given lead parts very well-paid as an actress and on huge budget movies like this one. And noone will invest a buck anymore on her if she does not play the chick, naked at one time or the other... She's off actingwise.
