The less you know about the individuals mentioned i.e. the Presidents, the more you will like this. The entire thing has a blatant bias most notable in the case of Jefferson and Madison. Yeah, it's entertaining, but I really wish the History channel would beef up it's "accuracy", not quite the right term but as close as I can come.

The History Channel is very accurate. I think you're looking for The History Channel not to "candy coat" history.

I realize that I'm responding to a post that's nearly two years old, but I had to ask, what is the "blatant bias" you are referring to?

Nice way to answer my question with a non-answer. It's easy to say "blatant bias", but what exactly is meant by the term is another thing altogether. Some people say "blatant bias" because the the truth doesn't agree with their pre-set notion of what it should be. I was just trying to discover what the OP considered a "blatant bias" so I could respond accordingly. Since he/she didn't point to anything in particular in the series, except a vague mention of Jefferson and Madison, I assume he/she is either talking through his/her hat, or would provide a more detailed answer if asked. Obviously since I was ignored by the OP, I am assuming the former.
