Okay, I have to say the Bard was awesome!

If people didn't laugh at how often, and how many ways he died, then they need more help then we can give them. I laughed so hard! Most of my laughs were over the bard. He was great!

This movie is great for people that have played pen and paper campaigns, Muds, online role play using D&D spells as a base and anyone who gets it.

Loved this movie!

"QUICK! Hide behind the mound of dead Bards."

The Bard was comical and was protrayed very well to D&D version of Bards. They are more there for a mood lightener and assist in gaining answers from stingy people. They are not much at fighting (other than back stabs) nor casting spells. I just loved how many times he died, "There's 37 more of me!!"

"As if killing the bard impresses us...."

How many of those do you have?

50

I laughed even harder when I thought of the logic of 50 bards just hanging out in this deserted village. I mean, where the heck were they all supposed to be coming from! :-)

Especially the endless string of deaths in the middle-o-nowhere village XD I nearly peed myself laughing, lol.
Even when he wasn't dying he was funny. "...stretching out the waves, which sucked!" -gets blanks stares, turns cue card over- "-Out the sea god's power..."
That one had me reaching for my inhalers, lol.

Some of the jokes on the sorceress dude/chick were good too.
"How embarrassing...[trying to look innocent after forgetting about being female and flirting with the barmaid]"
"We should not draw attention to ourselves, troublesome strumpet."

That whole scene is one of my favourite bits.

The looks on Osric & Monk faces when he says he doesn't know anything, and then when he does Lodge's facepalm hand gesture, and then mouthing what to do and the way he keeps looking at Osric while turning over the card.

Watched it 3 times already and watching it again now. Also just finished watching JourneyQuest and can't wait for the new feature length film.

Love the Bard. I have never played D&D but I keep watching this movies over and over. Truth be told, this is the closest I have been to D&D.

I don't know if I really get it, but this is a fun movie. Love that the Bard mattered in the end.

I agree. Everyone was great. The Sorceress was the classic RP person who keeps slipping out of character. The Bard reminds me of all the times I've said, I don't want to play a bard.. they suck!

I hope they plan to make a 3rd Gamers movie. I completely loved this one.

Just like any other class, a bard is only as good as the player behind the sheet.

That said...the guy sealed his fate when he said "How different can they be?"

If you're happy and you know it, go sit in the corner and think about your life.

I almost fell out of my chair when the Paladin was frozen for 20 seconds and had a spell cast on him, the Bard comes by with firewood just as the Paladin unfreezes and kills the Bard.

A man can change his stars

That's true though, Bards were just terrible at everything. I don't see how anyone can just choose to play a Bard. I'm a bit biased though as I'm a usual Wizard and Cleric player. The occasional Paladin depending on the game master.

I never touch

Druid,Bard,Barbarian,Sorcerer, and very rarely will I ever play a Fighter.

Takes no nerve to do something, ain't nothin' else you can do.

Or the one time in the inn, everyones fighting and the bard comes into the room, and starts happily playing his instrument and the paladin is like, dash it old man, help us! He's like, I am!

That line totally had me dying. And it summed up perfectly what I always felt about playing a bard myself lol. Totally worthless in my perception of them at least.

"So....How much experience do I get for the bard?"

"There's thirty-seven more of me, Assh*le "

The Bard totally seduced you!

Yeah, he and the situations built around him were pretty hilarious.
