I respect everyone's opinion but I would say that this series....rules!!!Not only is a dynamic answer to similar American series but also,as it has been already said, focusing on the characters and the relations between them gives much more interest to the plot and the atmosphere of the series generally.
It is also a great chance for everyone to see why the Mediteraneans (Italian, Greek, Spanish, French men and women) are considered the most beautiful people all over the world....(this is a joke!!!).Frankly I believe that women like Mrs Grimaudo are hard to find because only few would have her sweetness and tenderness....
By the way, can somebody please tell me where can I find English subtitles for the series? I searched over the Internet but without successs....

kerthis I'm sorry I have no idea where to find the subs (tried to ask at insomnia.gr?) just curious to know if you watch the series on mTV and if by chance you watch ''Crimini Bianchi'' also? It's great!
