Some people seem ticked off at Sig because of the way he treated Jake A

I believe it was totally justified.

#1 Jake signed on as part of the crew then left him flat with no notice

#2 He did have a clue where to drop the pots and did not have the experience to be able to locate the crab.

#3 HE does not have the maturity to run a boat and will never get the crews respect

#4 He totally lost it and had a mental break down under pressure

I want to win the Nobel Peace Prize so bad that I would kill to get it

Sig messes with Jake because he knows Jake is not the real captain of the Saga. The real captain is shown from time to time on the show, Jake is only there for entertainment purposes.

I disagree......it takes two able captains per boat...A main captain and a relief. Give Jake a chance.
Sig was being a poor sport. He started the corking, got corked back, and then called Jake and Casey babies???? Hell Jonathan had to get help from Captain Keith to find crab. I think they should all help each other out rather than act like Sig.....dish it out but can't take it.

Yeah, crews love 2 captains. That way the 2nd captain can take over when the 1st captain gets tired of whipping them.

Jake is a "made for TV captain." What's funny is that he believes he's the captain as well! Who in their right mind would hire a deckhand with virtually no captain experience and no leadership ability whatsoever to take over a vessel? At least Discovery could have made it more realistic and had them come on as the relief captain.

Jake did nothing wrong. Sig's being a dick and a big baby. Sig said he wanted to mess with the kid, so he dropped his pots next to Jake's. What's wrong with someone else dropping theirs on the other side? Sig thought he was being funny, but it's not so funny when someone does it to him.

Sig can dish it out but he definitely can't take it. They only did the same exact thing that Sig did to Jake, except they got one over on him by working together and setting down on both sides of him. There was no need for Sig to act like a little girl about it
