Supposed to be like the book nothing but the truth? Because its a similar summary, but the writing credits aren't given to Avi Wortis and different characters.

In the plot thingy it said that its about a guy that tells like to be popular. Isnt the book about a kid getting in trouble for "humming" the national anthem?

It SOUNDS similar, but only the title and the high school setting are the same. The characters and plot are all completely different. This movie has nothing to do with the Avi book. Just to clarify.
