A couple of days ago I looked this film up and sarah polley was still attached to it. She was suppose to play Saskia, the wife of Rembrandt. Now her name is gone. Does anyone know what happened? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Sarah’s management informed me today that sadly she won’t be available for “Nightwatching”, the Rembrandt biopic directed by Peter Greenaway, due to her own feature’s schedule. So don’t believe everything you will be reading in the press about her being in it.
Sarah is currently working on the the post-production of her film feature debut as a director so she'll be busy for most of the year.
In fact, she was never really attached to it. Although I'm sure she would have been great.
Thanks for the information. I am sorry to hear that Sarah won't be in the film. I like her as an actress and would have loved to have seen her in this, but hey, all is not lost. She's directing her own film, that is an awesome achievement. I'll take my Sarah Polley however I can get her. I'll be on the look out for her new film.
