Okay, it was good to finally see them together at the end, but the only way this will still be good is if they continue on with the show and they date or something. Does anyone know if they plan on updating the show to match what happened in the movie?

Boy this is very sad I was hoping that they made at lease another movie, will they be dating on the seris on the Disney Channel? I hope so they make a wonderful couple.

no way, that couple sucks ron is a moron. There is no way that she should end up with that loser they shouold just be friends. she is smart, cool talented, and kicks butt. he is a clumsy , ugly, dork, who acts like a jerk when something good happens to him. i could just picture that couple . him following her everywhere and her cleaning up his meeses and fixing his mistake .

Okay, first of all, haven't you ever heard of the term: "opposites attract"? Kim and Ron are complete opposites, yes. And it's true that Kim is smart, cool, and talented. However, I have to disagree that Ron is ugly and that he acts like a jerk. Ron would do anything to keep Kim from harm. I personally think that they belong together. The show would have been awfully boring if they were both beautiful and masterful in the martial arts.

What show were you watching? There were quite a few hints that the writers of the series threw at the audience during the length of the series.
For example:
In the episode "Emotion Sickness" Ron goes to Mr. Barkin's house and starts ranting about how often he'd think about him and Kim being more than just friends after that kiss Kim laid on him in school. Albeit she was under the influense of the moodulator, but after it was off, she did admit there were "still fireworks." This phrase could be taken in two ways: literally and metaphorically. She literally pointed to the fireworks exploding in the sky above them, but metaphorically she was saying that even though the moodulator was off, she still felt for him as more than just friends.
There's also the episode "Bad Boy" which contained an enormous hint. When Ron and Kim are watching Agony County and Ron complains that they're teasing that Danny and Charity will get together. Kim says "Yeah, it would end the series". This was a very subtle hint that Ron and Kim would get together in the end, but a hint nonetheless.
And one musn't forget the episode "A Possible Christmas" where Ron went missing and Kim cries when she can't find him. She also kisses him under the parsely pretending to be mistletoe.
And then there's the episode "Blush" where Kim is nearly erased from existance and Ron goes on a mission by himself to get the anecdote. He was always jealous of Mankey.
I don't know if you've seen the episode "Gorilla Fist" or not, but Kim was totally jealous of Yori when she thought she was Ron's girlfriend.
I got this hint from a friend: "When Ron asks why the ladies can't just say how they feel. Kim says (double meaning here) "Well, you got me."" She says this matter-of-factly. Get it. Kim is telling Ron that he has HER!
That was just to name a few episodes. You can't possibly have missed all of those clues, even if some were subtle.

anyway , oh well what can you do? i just think that the whole hhoking up thing was unnecessary. I would not have written it that way. the writers are good cause the got good stories and funny lines but i have no idea why they did that

*snicker* Shows how much YOU know, you stupid little ten year old. Here, I'll make it simple for you. Imagine a girl and a guy who love each other. The girl likes to work. She's a workaholic. And *gasp* the guy ALSO loves to work. So instead of going out to eat every friday night, the girl and the guy just... work. A few years later, the girl and the guy stop caring about each other, and bam. Split up.
Now picture another guy and a girl. The girl loves working. The guy, on the other hand, just likes to have fun. They love each other very much. Whenever the girl is stressed, the guy cheers her up and takes her to dinner.
See? Opposites attract. And no, I'm not saying that this is the "only scenario". But it's possible. Depends how people accept other people. Some people, like me, prefer people who have personalities similar to mine. Others (like Kim) apparently prefer people who have opposite personalities (Ron's).

First i'm 23, and i don't see how your story applies. I am talking about two very different people. Obviously you are pretty damn dumb if you thought i was saying that only people with everything in common would be a great couple. And your point is ridiculous because your examples are flawed.
The first couple could actually stay together and if they did breakup it would be just because they are both workaholics(not to mention being workaholics is a problem in itself). The second couple could easily breakup because the guy is either lazy or needs to grow up, much like you YOMPER, so why don't you take some time to organize your thoughts and come up with a better argument.
P.S. people don't go around preferring opposites unless they don't like themselves. psychology 101

shareRon comes off as "feminine" because he is in a lot of respects the "femme fatale" of the series. Kim and Ron share a complete gender-role reversal from the traditional serial plots (meaning, from those short movies from the 1930's) where the woman always ends up getting in trouble and the guy ends up saving her.
Instead, Ron is the useless one, but he's kind of in overdrive by comparison, because he often screws things up even more (and seems to lose his pants a lot, which would NOT have flown back in the 1930's---well, possibly, but let's not get off on a tangent). Although, I notice that when Ron is on his own, he tends to be a bit more capable than he usually seems, perhaps because he's kind of...nervous around Kim? Oh, and I guess he got a little more competent at the end of So the Drama, especially when he was laying the beat down on Dr. Drakken.
...also, I kind of thought from the very beginning (only been watching the show about three months off and on) that Ron and Kim were pretty much destined to end up together, if for no other reason than they never seem to hang around anyone else for any extended period of time---not including villains, of course. I could tell that they were setting that up. Everyone apparently thought they were together already, at certain points in the series.

You see, she is into reading novels, writing, listening to country music.(oh when will it end).
Anywho, I like movies, I've never read a novel without it being schoolwork, and I like sports, any sport, and hip-hop or rock music.
And yet, I've dated this girl for at least 2 years. And you see, even though we dislike each other's traits, we still love each other, because we just like each other. I make her laugh, she makes me cry, opposites DO attract.

True Ron comes off as feminine, but I kind of like it. And as for Kim doing so much better? Have you EVEN watched the series? Watch A Sitch In Time. She was messing him terribly when he moved. And she tried to date other guys, they didn't work out. The reason why I love this couple because they're so different in personalities, but balance each other out. They've been friends since they were 4, he's been there for her through everything. And when it turned out her 'boyfriend' in StD was fake (literally!), he helped her. And confessed how he felt. The guy she's been looking for had been in front of her the whole time so stop dissing Ron! And you was 23 at the time of this post? What were you doing watching a kid's show?!
