I feel I should apologize to citydiscofdoom here. I didn't know if you were male or female so I used a generic 'he'. I meant no insult by it.

If that's the pairing you like, that's cool. I'm just expressing my oppion. Unfortunatly, I haven't seen "Two to Tutor" yet. I really want to, though.

I never said that they did gay pairings, but there is subtext there; Even in disney. I have seen interviews from directors, etc. that say this explicitly, though it is kept to a minimum. The best example I can think of right now are those two inept pirates from 'Carribean' (one had a wooden eye). The whole thing, including them in drag, was inserted a joke but the point remains.

I said I'd stay out of this and keep the high ground, but I withdraw that statement. Personally, I didn't see much, if any, in Kim Possible. Kim and Shego don't mesh properly in my brain, (nor do Bonnie and Kim, another fan favorite) I see them as reflections of Kim and saw nothing but dislike and/or grudging respect between them. By the same token, I can't see Ron and Kim. I was firmly convinced that Monique and Ron would get together by the way she was introduced and Kim would get another guy.

My view on the issue as a whole is this: If you're gay, your choice, I can respect that. I'm not, please respect that. If a show has interesting characters and some are gay, fine. If all a show has going for it is that the characters are, or might be, gay (or big breasted, or... or... or...) then its not worth my time. My two cents, feel free to disagree.

BTW, for those who doubt what I said before about all this getting ratings and such, I offer this: It's controversial, and, regardless of the issue, controversy gets people involved whether they're for it or against it. My proof? We're having this conversation.

Ditto - I typically can't stand slash fiction. The only kind of pairings I do support are those at least hinted at by the creators/writers/etc. of a show/movie/etc.

These other impossible pairings are just...pathetic.
