I watched this on Sky years ago and the only scene that sticks in my head is one of the cast shouting "I have an idea!", running off and coming back in a tractor, only to drive it into a slurry pit, get stuck straight away and have to crawl out. It's like 'and your idea was...?!?'

It amuses me every time I think of it, but has my mind changed it (or is this the most unintentionally funny scene in cinema history)?

I could not have put it better. I was thinking something like: allright, you'll get stuck right in the middle of the puddle and then you'll have to crawl back. Great idea, dumbass. I was pretty sure he'd get bitten. This movie is full of surprises.
