I saw this movie at the Wisconsin Film Fest and it was absolutely Fantastic. it was the opener for the entire festival and the audience couldn't have been better. i loved the line where he's talking about the cows getting off the farm and he looks toward the camera dramatically and says, "it would be unstoppable." the crowd responded with many cheers.

its not supposed to be a comedy, therefore it sucks BIG TIME.

I saw it last night and the first thing I said as it finished was it's like Alien on a cow farm. Very weird and surreal but there was something about it I liked it that i couldn't quite place my finger on.

To me, it felt more like John Carpenter's THE THING...with cows *g*

ROFL, I love the title of this thread!

Yep, I'd say it very similar to Alien; the impending doom, the rain, the chest bursts, the alien looking mutants. However, it never delivers a solid face to face scene where we see the mutant in all it's glory. That is the only disappointing thing about the movie imo, otherwise, I actually enjoyed it.

For a horror suspense about cows, I mean, damn, that could have gone south really quickly depending on the director and editing. There are many Hollywood flicks that have used a way larger budget that are absolutely terrible, at least this is somewhat sophisticated and probable.

I liked it too. Better than any Hollywood fair lately. I would say that there is at least one part 'The Thing' in this too... :)

I watched this on DVD tonight. And I shouted 'It's like Alien, but with cows!' out loud during the movie. :)
