In the beginning of the program Priscilla is telling how she heard "Hound Dog" for the first time when her father brought home Elvis' first album "Elvis Presley". The song wasn't on that album, so she must have heard it elsewhere (Is this a goof or what?).

shareI think that nko_123 is correct, she didn't remember where she heard it from the first time other then hearing it in 1856, the year that Elvis Presley became nationally known, or took the nation by storm. And this program was done in 2005, so that is 49 years in between. So from all she could have remembered it could have been on his first album but it wasn't. And also keep in mind that Priscilla is not a young woman, and she has outlived Elvis Presley for a long time. And if I remember correctly I believe she said in her book Elvis and Me that she said she was not an Elvis Presley fan at the time, and I bet her classmates her bigger ELvis Presley fans, but eventally she might have made them jealous because she got to meet him, when the rest of them could have dreamed meeting him.
