I like to try and tell when watching films that i know could be either, and I saw at certain points definite pixelage, so I'm sure there was some video involved. Also I thought that Barney made video art not (16mm) films. Does anyone know if this was shot in film or video?

Well, whether you shoot a pile of crap in High Definition or in 16mm or 35 mm, what do you get either way? Still, I'm afraid, you have a pile of crap. No matter the lighting, soundtrack, the angles, it's just crap. Nothing more.
