B R O K E N hits Sundance

The short action/thriller B R O K E N recently got back from the Sundance Film Festival, where it generated quite a bit of talk. Woven from the pages of their feature film screenplay of the same name, creators: Writer/Producer/Director Alex Ferrari and Writer/Producer Jorge F. Rodriguez have produced a film combining both depth in story and over 100 visual effects so uncommon in independent films, much less shorts, that the it makes their budget of under $8,000 seem unreal for the accomplishment.

The :51 sec teaser trailer for B R O K E N has created such an unheard of demand in the on-line indie film community that they recently had to change their website provider so they could handle the additioanl traffic. To check out the trailer goto: http://www.whatisbroken.com. They are currently in negoiations to develop B R O K E N into a feature length film.

The story:
A gun blast, a flash of light, and a young woman awakens to the comfort of her own bed. Bonnie Clayton has it all, a great relationship, a challenging career, and the burden of a dream that grows more vivid and disturbing with each passing night. But when Bonnie is abducted by a sadistic stranger and his colorful entourage, she discovers that the key to her survival lies within the familiar realms of her recurring dream.
