The players actions !!??

Does anybody else feel that for a league that has taken many hits on domestic abuse and players being "gangsters" or criminal types that this show almost feeds into that ???

I love Hard Knocks and getting inside NFL training camps because I played football all through HS and like millions of other people I just love football and the NFL.
It seems like after the first episode this season with the Texans these guys already are acting like animals. They show them brawling in a light scrimmage against the Redskins.
Dante Hall sounds like a street guy talking about "putting the fear of God in a player" and all this crap that sounds like it belongs on the corner.
The show is realistic in the sense that most of these guys are "street" types and they don't hide it.
You would think that because they were on national television on a show millions of kids watch as well that they wouldn't act like such animals some times but it is true that in the NFL these guys really are (for the most part) really street and act like thugs. They are always getting in trouble for serious crimes off the field and just doing plain dumb things.
I love the NFL and ny Cowboys but man some of these guys really are plain stupid lol.

THERES NO ROOM IN MY CIRCUS TENT FOR YOU !!!!

Sorry man, I'm not usually the one on these boards to correct people on something like this but I disagree a bit.

While I do understand where you are coming from and I am not going to act like the person that doesn't clearly understand that a lot of these guys seem street, most of them are not (or at least are not any longer).

Are they all "hard" or "cocky" or let's even say "urban" if I may? Yes. But a certain accent doesn't make you a thug. These boys are tough as nails, the best athletes in the world. Some may be from less fortunate backgrounds and that may mean being from the streets at one point. But let's not forget what they all have in common; probably some of the toughest, hardest, no nonsense work ethic and athletic talent in the world.

Some do have trouble putting certain life styles behind but the large, overwhelming majority of players that make it to this level of the NFL are doing the right things, otherwise they wouldn't be out there. It takes way to much talent and drive to be at this level, if you are out there you don't have the time for the garbage. And the ones that do are weeded out very quickly. Rough play and even fist fighting when necessary are a part of competition in physical sports. The fighting on the field, in my opinion, happens at this level no matter where you come from. These are ultra, type A, alpha males that are the best at what they do. I don't care if you are from the streets or the farm, you are punching anyone that stands in your way when you are this superior at a sport like NFL football.

I do get what you are saying though and I am sure there will be the high horse responders to our posts.
