Why should someone wast his time to watch this movie..I think the best adjective to define it is "empty". When it's finished you just realize it gave you nothing, not even something interesting to tell your friends. Boring. Like many of the Italian movies of this period.

No, I totally DISAGREE. I don't know if you're italian or not (it's about a society rooted in a particular place in Italy, so it can be not totally appreciated in its sense) anyway, the dialogues and the acting quality is quite high for non-professional actors and good-very good for the proper actors.
The ending is something you have to understand, and it's curious that you've found it EMPTY, because the ending was just something to reflect on.
You haven't really watched it, you sought a pretext to bash italian cinema, but it doesn't deserve to you, maybe.
It's not a masterpiece... but there are a lot of worst movies (especially italian movies). The director is still young, too.

You have to watch it with the eyes of a person who comes from those places, and in Italy there are many. I liked the way he directed it, sometimes confusional maybe, but very original. I hope we'll see him again...
