I Hate this Weird, Disgusting movie

Although somewhat interestingly mysterious in the beginning,

the incestuous elements are just too creepy to compensate for, especially and specifically:

the cuddling scenes, close dancing, lying in bed together AND
***the mother in daughter's body ACTUALLY telling her husband/father?? why wouldn't he want sex with the 16 year old body that "are every man's wet dream"
HUH? What mother would want her husband having sex with their daughter's body, doesn't matter if it's really her in the mind. It's incest plain and simple, and after the daughter's spirit returns, the father would have memories of the sex.....

Not to mention, the daughter was just plain hateful towards her mother before the car accident. The mother unrealistically never tried to correct her daughter for her behavior.

But she's equally evil when she tries to seduce her husband in their daughter's body.

Who the hell wrote this crap?!

I agree with your every word starryeyed8, (only thing I liked about the movie was seeing David :)

I hated the way the daughter was SO MEAN to her mom- she spewed venom at her mom at every incident.

The movie had a chance to be good had it went in another direction- but as it was ,it totally sucked :(

Jeez, the selfish b#tch just couldn't keep it in her pants.

Would have been very disturbing if she had anything in her pants to keep! LOL (fyi: that's a term used for guys, not girls)

I do have to agree that that was a bit disturbing that her own mother would suggest that. But Hannah was feeling all these emotions and hormones again, clearly not thinking straight. But the whole film in general was good. It all depends on the individual watching it. It's like a mouse: some ladies will scream bloody murder and how disgusting a mouse is and make a whole big deal out of it, but it's just a mouse. Same with this film, you have to be open to the whole concept, not just from the narrow view that you have.

This movie fails on so many levels. It acts like the mother was never 16 in her life before and didn't know what was going on. Theres nothing in Sam's life that was revolutionary. Peer pressure, sex, school are all things we have to deal with at some point not just Same.

But the mother mad the choice to do drugs..She oddly enough was tempted to have sex with 16 yr olds. And the way she was grinding up on the kid when they were dancing she might as well have....She was acting like a child and it was obvious she only cared about herself in the movie not once did she actually care to think about David's feelings. He lost both his daughter and wife technically and all she can think about is hanging out with Sam's friends and possibly banging the one kid if it wasn't for Davids intervention..My conclusion is that she really didn't love David all that much to begin with to turn her back on him like she did...Blaming it on hormones is a bad excuse..She was that age at once. I'm sorry she couldn't keep it in her pants for the whole few days or weeks she was part of Sam.

Agree on all points. It takes a very immature mind to only act based on your own selfish desires without thought or concern for anyone else's feelings. Plus the movie in and of itself was quite boring even though it really tried to push some buttons.

Freud would say that anyone protesting sexual deviancy so adamantly, are subconsciously hoping for it themselves.
