The girl who was cast as the lead in this movie is an amaaazing actress. I have seen her in her earlier works (even though this is her debut film). I can't wait to see this movie and soak up the brilliance that is Olivia Thirlby. Love you Livstamanana.
ah yes! she is phenomenal!!!!! You all must must must keep your eyes on her, because wow. we're talking next natalie portman, at the very least. boofansa? i'm guessing you're on the inside with me. lol. we should talk.
Oh My! I came to see my lovely Liv and I see Missy is here!!! Olivia is a fantastic woman. The entertainment business will drop to their knees in shear amazement! Love- Pamela!!
Last year at the age of only 17, she attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art Shakespeare progam in London. She is not only is very talented, but very passionate about her craft! FINALLY...a fresh young actress who is not all about the glamoure of the red carpet!
17? I thought she was 16... Anyway, yeah, I saw her in action during filming and she does a great job. She's a really nice and good-looking person, too. The guy who plays her boyfriend isn't quite as good, though. He has some weird ways of getting hyped up before filming a scene. (staring into a mirror and shouting obscenities if he's supposed to be angry, for example)
In response to JiottoCaspita about the actor playing her boyfriend, he is terrible... that's what you call bad acting. About Olivia, she's really shy, I got her to laugh a few times while trying to talk her up but she's really shy... notice she attended the shakespeare school, but not graduated from. BIG difference.
My Name is Zander Bleck, I was originally casted as Olivia's Boyfriend "Justin" in The Secret. I was set to be shooting in canada when my agents called to tell me they had cancelled my character due to budget cuts... Whats the deal, who do they have replacing me?
THe reason she did not graduate... is because she attended a summer session, she was not there as a full time student. One doesn't graduate from something like that. Don't try to talk this girl down. it won't work.
I just wanted to indulge in the fanaticism of Olivia Thirlby since I'm proud to say she's a great friend and a blossoming starlet. It's so funny to think how big she's going to be next year. ML
Thought that I would join in the Olivia lovin! I too am on the "inside" and have seen this incredibly talented young actress up close in live theater(as well as taking a ballroom class with her, I can vouch that she is an excellent dancer!) I can't wait until the trailer comes out! You're gonna be a star Liv! -Jesse
