What gives with the SLOW out of focus shots? What is the director trying to convey? It was very annoying and detracted from my viewing of the film which I did not like. Also was Pinoche's voice dubbed in some of the scenes? Sometimes her voice was very different.
shareIrene was short sighted and wore glasses so the 'out of focus' shots were meant to portray what she saw when she removed her glasses. As she said she removed her glasses when she wanted to see things differently. Loved that concept. Loved the whole film. Really connected to all the characters and the very special effects that were used. What a breath of fresh air!
