not so good film, and what about the ending? *SPOILER*

This film was funny. the way they introduced everyone with a little cheesey clip LOL. It reminded me of a sort of street fighter game. This happened at the end as well. Was it suppose to be cool? I can't remember a film doing such thing.

There's a race department in the police force? It came to me as a surprise.

One of the member was a master sniper? Somehow it took him i think 10rounds to get 1 hit on that woman, even when she was standing still. He's a proper master isn't he...

The ending...
well...what was that about? The man just finished a hards days work, then a few cheesey police people comes and shoots up his business, and it explodes?!!
why does it explode???? why shoot it up??? WHY!!!!!
This scene is very memorable but in a bad way.

Although this film isn't that good, but i would advise people to watch it because i don't think you've seen such a film before, also it's funny.

Dear Mr “dogndogs”,

Personally I have the following interpretation.

The man who runs “the shooting gallery” is a villain in a way. Did you notice, that when the little kids were missing the targets he gave those hostile and malicious laughs? Besides, he tries to be a cowboy in his westernized clothes. He seems to behave in the following way: “Ha! Look at me. I’m a cowboy, I’m cool, I’m civilized - not like you, Hong Kong brats!” He also must be some sort of smuggler who prepares an act of terrorism against civil people of Hong Kong, whom he despises. No wonder it all blows up at the end – he kept tons of explosives there, waiting for more Asian children to come. And at the end of the movie the good guys taught him a lesson…

Anyhow, even if my interpretation is a bad mistake, the ending rocks. The whole movie is insane and it must have an insane ending, must it not? Of course it could have ended on a sour note: I would be disappointed immensely, if it ended with some run-of-the-mill parade where all the good guys would be awarded with some medals and some pompous speeches.

Actually, I cannot remember any other action movie with such hectic zooms, cuts, black-and-white shots, slow motion, divided screen, newsreels, etc. I could not fall asleep during the film, though I was dead tired after hard day's work. And I've never regretted it. That's a sign of quality to me.

Regards,
Andrei

Halloween remake too violent for you? That's a shame. Go review the Bratz movie instead.
