Style Over Substance

This movie wasn't very good. During the action scenes, the camera bounced around more than Pam Anderson on a trampoline. I felt like I needed a dramamine. I could barely tell what was going on! The audio from the guns sounded kind of strange. The movie's pacing was awful, and what was with the one verse song when the good girl died? That was such a pathetic attempt at sentimentality, I laughed when I saw it.

The gun fight that preceded it was intense, but it's a little hard to believe that with all those bullets flying around, the only people who got shot were the two morons who stood out in the open while snipers rained down lead from above. Oh, and then there was that part where the driver cop rams the bad guys' SUV. He starts firing a pistol from point blank while the bad guys return fire with automatic weapons . . . and every bullet misses? Please!

I could go on about how the final twenty or thirty minutes were weak, the acting was terrible, and there was no character depth, but I won't. Oh, and the character of Yu Ching was so stupid that I felt insulted.
