This movie wasnt very good...

It was really boring? Or was it just me?

i didn't like it either, it was a mess, too bad because i wanted to like it, i do think the stylization of the movie was done pretty well, its just that the plot was convoluted, and whats with the sitting ducks?? lol!!

The style was far too over the top, and they had too many "named" characters. Everyone can shoot like they've got an aimbot when they're aiming at ducks and non-named characters, but once they're in a firefight with people with names, nobody can hit a stationary target.

I don't even know what that stupid ending is supposed to mean (it's not the truth unless you have faith.) or how some of those people survive.

Also, it's pretty hilarious how the two people killed by sniper fire are shot from the front, but both have wounds in the back of their heads.

Yah, considering that I've seen some of the actors in some great martial arts flicks, it was disappointing that there was very little of that. Unfortunately, the director tried to emulate American fare rather than stick to some of the HK cinematics that viewers might have been looking for, so even the gunplay felt weak to me.

This movie was a brilliant piece of garbage. Over-stylized, unwanted camera movements, no plot, no story and most of all every scene is confusing than the one before and the one after. Bad acting by the entire cast, except for the veteran Samo and Biehn. This kind of crap might fly within Hong Kong, but not outside. Most of the young actors looked like they just walked out of a Calvin Klien advertisement. Very unrealistic and over the top.

Yeah what a disappointing piece of waste. I noticed that every time HK movies introduce American characters the movie end up sucking as if they're trying to accommodate to American viewers, but end up overdoing it with ridiculous story telling and try to compensate the weak dialogue with noisy car chases, explosions - basically sugar-coating it with unnecessary, out of place action.

Shawn Yu is a great actor, but in this one his presence was pretty much non-existent. Michael Biehn isn't a bad actor, he did decently in this one, but doesn't hide the fact that his lines were cheesy and at times dumb.

the use of cigarettes and cigars to show off masculinity, strength, power is overused and senseless... what's with Sammo jogging and with the cigar in his mouth? to show invincibility?

i give it a 3.5 out of 10

i love me
