is there sex or nudity in this series or is it ok for our teenage daughters to watch, they love horror films and they hear swear words and of violence on the news usually through drunken brawls or whatever

but we prefer them to be a bit older before having that sort of rubbish put in front of their faces

they'll have time enough for it when they are older they are 15 and 17, but they are not roundabout teenagers, they keep themselves to themselves.

dont mind guts and stuff but not the filth!

There's some "romance" leading up to it (sex) but no actual footage (and no nudity)..

What are you talking about... there is sex in episode 1 and 2. I's nothing full frontal or anything, but there is definately sex to be had.

I personally feel that sex is less poisoning on the brain then violence is, but i'm not the one to tell you how to raise your daughters... It's a great show, suited for the 17 year old (i'd have second thoughts about the 15 y/o,because of the gore..)

what do you mean exactly by definately sex to be had, please if you dont mind answering again

we are very lucky, our childred have hardly had a boyfriend never mind anything else.

its more as a family its uncomfortable to watch both for them to watch it in front of us and us to watch in front of them, plus i cant watch it myself in any film, no matter what the reason for showing it is

they both love horror films, horror films are they're favourite, anything with blood and gore is good in their books and ours, but not the sex or nudity thing, if you know what we mean?

while we're at it any one know the cheapest place to buy the box set we've looked around £35 is cheapest we've been able to find it for surely its cheaper than that

What i meant was: you wont see a nipple in this series, but there are at least 5 episodes in which it is very clear what the characters are doing, or are going to do. So yeah, there is sex in the show, like there is sex in iraq and sex at the home front. But it's not pictured in an offensive way.. no awkward 3 minute scenes of the characters getting it on.

Here most kids debut sexually very young(I did at 14).
Its not healthy to obsess with chastity,humans have needs too..

repsgym Where did you learn to spell. Or I mean why didn't you learn how to spell?

It must be embarrassing to misspell almost every word that has more than five letters.

I sure hope you are not home schooling your kids.......although it sounds like you don't let them out of the house much.

And they like 'blood & guts' over sex?????? That is hard to believe in 'normal' kids today over the age of 10.

Believe me they know. Obviously they can't tell you because you sound very red neck, but they know.

Better prepare for a couple of pregnancies down the line before too long.

And talk to your kids about sex, or send them to someone to do it for you, because they ARE learning about it.......from others.

Wake up.

Maybe the best thing would be for you to join them this year back to school to learn spelling and grammar.

It couldn't nurt.

SPOILER ALERT!
In the first episode there's a sex seen right in the beginning that I would classify as soft porn. On "Situation Normal" there's is rear female nudity where for about three minutes you see a women get undressed and then standing in front of a guy, but you don't see anything else. Now, regarding the lesbianism scene - in that same episode - its two girls kissing in the shower - including the previous women - for about a minute and then it cuts to one of them waking up in bed, but once again you only see their upper body, nothing more.

Oh yeh I forgot about that first episode! They're basicly cuttin it to the chase at the start!!

So yeh once you pop in the first episode in you might get offended at the first SECOND!

Oh repsgym you are raising a couple of repressed kids there. They are going to learn about sex, if they haven't already, from someone else, and it ain't gonna' be pretty.

Hope you are prepared for some possible pregnancies soon. Kids today can't wait to experience it, and yours are no different, no matter what you think.
