Why Didn't They....

Go back and re-interview all of the people in the various city commissions that had opposed the project? To see what they thought of it after it had been constructed. Did they ever visit? And what were their thought on The Gates and it's impact on the city at the date of filming.

Get into the money aspect. Their quote of $21 Million was criticized then and now. They paid for everything including various donations to various charities. But, contractors said that it'd cost Less than half that (21 mil). And most likely 1/3 their estimate. The Artist say they're gonna sell art related to the project to raise the funds for it. Which they did. But at a inflated price compared to their other works. All prices based on the predicate that it was all for the Gate project. So,in actuality they made a killing on this project. But they won't admit it. They weren't asked about it. And they should have been.

No Afterward about it's lasting effect on the city.Nor on the impact it had while it was on display. Impact beyond people in the park saying it's great. And where is the footage of people say that the hated it?

Personally I like The Gates, the art project. Not so much the documentary.
