I enjoyed the drama a lot, and the huge party and wedding scenes looked so beautiful! I also recognised so many faces during the big party scene (including my back, twice!) and it took me right back to the summer of 2004 :)
shareyes it was nice to see the final cut. I saw it on the big screen down in London on Saturday. I feel it worked a lot better that way, also I feel lucky to of been seen as much as I was .. seeing as there were so many that didn't seem to make it . Just a shame there weren't more that made it down there, would of been nice to see the old faces one more time.
shareI totally agree, watching the party scene took me right back to that night, and i was so pleased to be in so many shots, and a good friend of mine also got her face on scene a lot. Was lovely to finally see how the bits we were in fitted into the story. And I have to say Castle Ashby looked fabulous, brilliant location.
shareThat was one Poliakoff that I think would of looked amazing on a big screen! Recently re-watched it and reminded me of January 2006 when it was transmitted, let alone the periods it covered, all those fashions and hairstyles we went through in the 80's...
Great cast, great score, fantastic production and really was a film to watch on a cold winters night in the early new year when everything seems so bleak.
