Repeated last night
Saw it on BBC2, it looked good, excellent cast but ultimately it was pretentious tosh.
What a waste.
Totally agree! Im still cross with myself for wasting an hour & a half of my time watching this. Despite his pretensions i am actually a fan of some things Poliakoff has done but this was just so bad i eventually couldnt stand any more and didnt even bother watching the last 10 minutes - wish id made the decision to switch of much earlier...
shareI watched 20 minutes but had a feeling it was going to be a stinker, so binned it. Reading some of the negative feedback it seems it was a good move.
As for other work by Poliakoff, the only other I have seen of his was the excellent 'Gideons Daughter'.
