making this into a series of movies? Because that would be wicked awesome. I just watched it and this movie was way better than I expected it to be. Well, not that I actually knew what to expect, but I'm not that big a fan of the whike suspense movie genre, so I really liked how this one worked out and drew me into it...

Plus, Chad Allen is officially out? Respect, man. Not only a good actor, then, but someone to look up to as well for having the guts to come out in a business that is lightyears behind the rest of the world in this respect. Kudos!

Yes, Chad Allen came out about 5 years ago and has been on the cover of The Advocate 3 times already. He's an amazing actor, a tireless fighter for LGBT causes, and a really lovely person. (I had the pleasure of meeting him at the church which we both attend.) Believe it or not, this is the first time he's ever "played gay" in a movie. The sequel, Shock to the System, has been completed and had a theatrical release in L.A. as well as its TV showings on Here! Check out End of the Spear. The "Christian" right was outraged that he got cast as a straight missionary. The producers cast him knowing he was gay BECAUSE he made such an impression on them as a deeply spiritual person. It's a very good film too, and not at all preachy. Go Chad!!!

Wow, thank you for the information and can I just say, wheeeeeeeeeeee? :D So good to hear that there are people like that out there, especially if you happen to admire those people already.

I'll keep an eye out for both movies you've mentioned. I'm not from anywhere near North America, but I trust that we'd still get to see them here, sooner or later.
