Totally beside any reasonable point


Right, this is not about the movie per se (which I did enjoy a lot - I was very much surprised when I found out it was a TV production, I thought it had a certain big screen gloss to it), but about a minor detail.
Congressman whatever-his-name-was, the "evil Republican", always had a cigar, but never was it lit. Not in the secret pictures, not in the confrontation. At least I don't think so. Why would that be?
