The prison

Although I liked TTB, it just didn't quite retain that same creepy charm of the original. The prison atmosphere is what I thought really made the original so good and unique; Both on a metaphorical and literal level I thought it kept things interesting. TTB slums were passable to me, but no where near as interesting as Carnate. If there is ever a third I would love to see them go back to a prison setting.
