Starfox fans, i have a question....

It might seem of an odd question, but is the Starfox DS considered the next main sequel in the series, or just a hand held spin off. For example, if Starfox came out for the Wii; would it ignore command and put itself after assault?

This maybe late but if you look on Answers.com it tells you that the starfox game that is coming out on the Wii will be have one of the endings from Starfox Command. So its just a Wii version of Command but with 1 of the 9 endings from the DS version.
