Was this the origin story of the Kurgan?

Not sure how you came to even think of that question, since the Kurgen was not supposed to be Scandanavian. COuld be explain your thought process on how you got to that?

Besides, how do we know the Kurgan isn't Scandinavian.

Because Highlander canon states that the Kurgen was from Russia, near the Caspian Sea. His tribe were infamous for their cruelty, and were known to "toss children into pits full of starved dogs, and watch them fight for [the] meat" for amusement.

The Kirgen is from Russia... Still, he could have traveled and caught on with the Vikings at some point. It was never clear when the Kurgrn was born so who knows.
