This was an f... up movie.
Totally unreal. Any normal father would have gone on a killing spree.
He had one of the rapists there; he knew that here neighbour had something to do with it. Any normal father would have taken care of business. There would have been no problem to find the other bastards, since he had one of them already. There are methods to get bastards to talk.
This is South Africa... where Africans outnumbered every other population group combined like 5-1.
Besides, he was in no position to be a threat: that is sort of the point.

I have no problem seeing your point.
But people disappear all the time, he could have taken them one by one, and at the same time send a message to here neighbor, like "behave" you are next.
When it comes to your family, there are all kinds of positions.
But, its just a movie. A bad movie, I have seen it, never gonna see it again, never gonna read the book.
