I was actually pleased with this movie (compare it to other crap from Maverick like The Locator and you'd agree it wasn't that bad). Slip wasn't too bad either.

Since Taryn was in Hustle & Flow, I assumed she was black (the name Taryn doesn't help either) so I was confused when I saw Cult and there were no black girls. Rachel Miner is the only person I recognized. Now that I realize Taryn played Nola in H&F, she was definitely the one in Cult who is stabbed in the neck with a knife and bleeds to death about five minutes before the movie ends.

shareI spent much of the film, shifting from one butt-cheek to the other, waiting for that obnoxious mascot guy who stole the amulet from the temple to get his !
I was so relieved when the demon visited him !
