This movie was terrible, I mean just pointless, the acting felt just pointless, it was just stupid.
I guess they were trying to mock real life skating but it didnt work unless your familiar with skating and everything.

Not the worst film ever but 6.4 ?

Nah, it's not a lot of figure skating inner working mocking I don't think. Just the basic stuff everyone would understand (costumes, femininity of it, etc), you don't need to know in depth about skating to laugh at it.

You just didn't like the style of humor, it happens, we've all been there. But your critique is a bit lame unfortunately. You don't say why you didn't like it except that the 'movie & acting felt pointless', whatever that even means.

I mean the movie is at 6.4 or a D-, does it upset you SO much it's not one grade lower that you had to start a new thread about it?

"You didn't like this movie? Go watch [insert completely opposite movie] instead"

I don't know, I didn't enjoy the acting, and its just one of those American movies that are not funny but people watch anyway like well all I can think of is Saw, but I agree ot wasn't my type of comedy, I prefer Stand up stuff, but I did think I would enjoy which is why I was so disappointed, that Will Ferrell guy just acts like an idiot in this and Elf, and Will Ferrell movies aren't my type of movies.
It would have been improved if he was not in it

Ugh, your nick/name is Michael - but, your post says that you're not an American?.. Anyway it *supposed* to be "one of those movies", but Will Ferrell stinks - and I've NO idea how come that he has been cranking out so many movies over the years...

I mean, he's one of my friends' favorite actor, but never in a million years will he, ever, come even close to the likes of Steve Martin, John Candy in Planes, Trains & Automobiles (1987); for example - and many more. Ferrell, just, doesn't have it in him.. Never did, unfortunately.

(He tries, we can give him THAT - lol; but, he's just an egghead. ;))

The first time I saw this I was on an aeroplane and was laughing so loudly people were looking at me (and I couldn't stop).

It's a 6.4 and made 120 million $$ because most of the United States citizens are totally brainless idiots, the dumbest population in the history of mankind.

Actually, it should be higher. The film is hilarious.
