Lucy lacks emotion

I'm a Beatles fan and I loved that movie.

However, I think Lucy overact and doesn't sing very well: though she's got a technically perfect voice, she lacks emotion which she substitutes effects to.

But somehow, as she's supposed to be a well-educated WASP teen it goes very well with the character.

I still don't understand why Jude would not hookup with Prudence... ;)

BTW, it's a pity that the version of "Hold me tight" we hear on the soundtrack is not the Liverpool/Suburbia medley we hear during the movie.

Seriously, I thought her singing was very wonderful and emotional.

Probably because she was a lesbian.

To me when they are in the laundry room and she blurts out about laying down infront of a tank to bring Max home, she would do it. Jim says to her, that it wouldnt and her tone in that next sentence to me is WAYYYY overacting.
There is another spot in the movie as well when she hits this what I call "smack her in the face" tone. When Jim comes into the SDR and she squalls at him WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?
I didnt think that she lacked that much emotion, she just didnt portray it well with her speaking voice. Her singing voice was more emotion, alot more than her speaking one.
Jude didnt hook up with Prudence because she might not have been his type, she was a pretty girl.
I still cant believe that you dont think Evan's voice is good, I think her voice is amazing. When they first started singing the first time me and the husband watched it, our jaws dropped.
