No one hunt me down for saying this, but....

I actually think the actors did a better job at some of the songs...
Yes, go ahead and let your jaw drops and start angrily responding to this post! I don't care! xD
I'm not saying every single song, either. Just a handful like Dear Prudence, Hey Jude, I Want You, Because, Blackbird, and Strawberry Fields Forever. The other ones are good, of course, but those are the ones I really think are a little better than the originals.
FYI....I am a HUGE Beatles fan! But I can admit that Jim, Evan, Joe and all the rest did really good jobs. =)
Love this movie!

Screw Wizards of Waverly Place and Shake It Up. I like WALT Disney!!

I agree. I love the movie version of I Wanna Hold Your Hand.

me too...that's the minute this movie really grabbed me

other unexpectedly great renditions of Beatles songs that have never ranked among my favorites include "It Won't Be Long" and "Oh! Darling"

Personally, this version of I Wanna Hold Your Hand made me wince terribly. T.V. Carpio has an amazing voice but I hate that version of the song.

I do love this movie's versions of "If I Fell", "Something", and "I've Just Seen a Face"

I will disagree and i have one question that doesnt have anything to do with your wrong statement
Where do you life?

"It's only after we've lost everything, that we are free to do anything."
"Don't give up, don't ever give up."

I think eric is pulling your leg, allyson, asking where you live so he can hunt you down in spite of your plea not to be hunted down.

I didn't care for "Blackbird" which i think sounded incomparable on the White Album. I also didn't care for "Because" But overall, i think they did some wonderful work with the songs and some of the visuals they chose to go along with them (Strawberry Fields in particular) were outstanding.

My "#3" key is broken so I'm putting one here so i can cut & paste with it.

I agree that the cast did a superb job but can't say I prefer any of their renditions to the originals.

While I agree, I felt the same way at times. But think of it like this, we grew up listeneing to the Beatles (or at least I did). So I have heard these songs for 40+ years. Now, a slightly different version comes along, sung by attractive people in a way cool and sort of reminiscent but new... they are bound to hit a new string and make you think they are better.

Still, Dear Prudence never sounded so good, also loved Come Together, and I Want You in this movie.
